Hello Followers,

It is a rather damp, grey and cool day here in Morpeth, at the beginning of the week it was lovely and warm.
I am a little late in doing this months blog, being that I had been away in Kent, seeing my family and Mum who is waiting for a hip replacement operation.

These are a few of my latest cards, which have just gone to St. Oswald's Hospice shop earlier this week.  This Marianne Design french cat die is a favourite of mine, it can be used in so many ways.  I have made a white and black cat version, mounting it onto various background papers.  I also added on small collars and tiny gems for their eyes.

The following cards were made  with x-cut bloom nesting dies, where I cut out the large bloom on some floral card and then mounted it onto pink paper, adding purple underneath it to bring out the shape of the bloom.  I then added part of a circular die and mounted on the sentiment, then added gems to finish.  The second card was using the bloom which was cut out from the first card, mounted onto striped paper and a scallop circle then a round sentiment added, and then gems.

The last set of cards were made using the Spellbinders Asian accents border die, which I love using, mounted onto the bloom die and then I used a Catalina Wreath die from Memory box, where I added blue gems and a sentiment in the middle of the wreath.  The background paper was from DCWV floral collection.  The second card in pink was made using the same border and pink die cut bloom with a Memory Box circle floral die, which I bought already cut out.  The background was done with a daisy embossing folder to make it a little more interesting.

Thank you for looking, Jackie x
