Hello Everyone,

Here are a few of my new handmade cards to finish off this year ,,

The first was made using a new die from Amy Design-Keep it Cool, Cool Square Frame, which I cut out in white and then mounted this onto a 5x5 blank card and used some LOTV background paper, to go underneath it..  The little penguin image was recycled from an old Christmas card.  I finished each corner off with a small blue rhinestone.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

My last two cards are made using a Paper Tree collection called A Winter's Tale.  I used the sentiment panel pad from this collection which I then mounted onto some background paper also from this collection.  I then added a red bow cut out of red mirri card using a Cheery Lynn die and then added rhinestones to the wreath.

Thank you for looking and hope to see you next year, all the best for 2021.

 Hello Everyone,

For this month I have had some fun putting together these Christmas cards, for St. Oswald's Hospice shop.

The first two cards were made using a Gnome die set from Marianne Design Creatables which is very cute indeed.  There are some very small elements, but it is well worth the intricacy putting them together, as the results are great.  I have also used a Marianne Design forest tree die set as well, this set contains three different fir tree dies.  These die sets are great as you can use a lot of little scraps of Christmas paper and do a lot of different colours for the gnomes.

The second gnome card I have used another die set from Marianne Design Craftables collection, this time a Build-a-Wreath die, where the gnomes sit perfectly in the middle of it.

My last card is made from a die set called 'Love deer', which is made by My Favourite Things.  I treated myself to these deer dies last year and have always been really pleased each time I use them.

I have mounted the deer on some fabric Washi tape which I bought from The Works.  Again you can cut out the deer in different colours of your choosing.  All the sentiments that I have used on these cards are from Craftwork Cards.

Thanks for taking the time to look and happy crafting.

Stay safe, Jackie x

 Hello Everyone,

For this month I have made a start on some Christmas cards for 2020.

The first three cards are made using The Paper Boutique Winter Gnomes collection of papers and toppers.  They are all a 6x6 card and the toppers have been matted onto various mats using square and round dies.

My last two cards are made using Hunkydory's Little Book of Snow Adorable toppers which I have matted onto silver mirri card and then onto papers which I have had for a long time which I bought from The Range. I have finished off the cards by using pearls and self-adhesive gens.

Thanks for looking, and stay safe,

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have used a new collection by The Paper Boutique called, 'It's A Cat's Life'.

For the first card I used the embellishment background border paper and one of the many toppers which are supplied in the pad.  I cut out the topper using the Making Magic Fancy Square die set and then mounted this onto a navy blue card frame using another Fancy Square die for this which came from China.  To finish off the card I found some Craftwork Card Candi which goes well with the colours of the paper and topper.  My second card was also  made using a cat topper from the embellishment pad, and then  using the pretty paper pad in this collection.  I used the same Fancy Square die set to show off the topper and then used some more Candi.

My last two cards are made using the very pretty, Hobby House background panels and toppers from the Rose Garden collection and Rose Wood collection.  I raised the toppers and sentiments on foam pads on the background panels and then finished with some pearls.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my new creations, I hope to start on my Christmas cards soon.
Take care, Jackie x

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have made two 6x6 cards using the new Paper Boutique collections called 'Summer Blooms', which is very pretty with a lot of floral images, in pinks and greens, and 'Rainbow Buddies', which have some cute images of black and white animals with red and blue flowers to enhance them.

My first card is made using one of the toppers from the Summer Blooms embellishment pad which I have cut out using a fancy square die from Card Making Magic called  'Fancy Square die set'.  The white frame is also using one of the dies from this set.  The background coloured card is from the Summer Blooms collection also.  I have finished off the card with some small pearls in each corner.

The second card is made using an image from The Paper Boutiques Rainbow Buddies embellishment pad, again using the Fancy Square die set. This time I have mounted the image onto a white cut and embossed frame die which has come from China.  I have also used coloured card from the Rainbow Buddies range, together with some black and white gingham card.  To finish off the card I have used some Craftwork Cards Candi.

Thanks for looking and please stay safe!

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few of my recent handmade cards.

The first two cards are made from the Paper Boutique It's a Dog's Life collection which is a new release for this month.  The background paper in the first card with the Westie is from the paper pack in this collection.

For the second card with the Labrador, I have used backing paper from the Paper Tree Countryside Story Essential pad.  I used Spellbinders Card Creator square nesting die set B.  To finish off the cards I used Craftwork Cards Candi, in each corner.  The images are mounted onto white card.

The last card I have made is from another Paper Boutique collection of toppers and papers called Morning Whispers which came out earlier this year.  The bird topper is from the Embellishment pad in this collection and the background paper from a 6x6 paper pad also from this collection. The frame die that I used to mount the bird topper on is from Aliexpress, which also has embossed edges.

Thanks for looking and please stay safe!

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few cards which I have made recently using the new Paper Boutique Floral Daze collection of papers, toppers and embellishment pad.  The collection is very pretty with a lot of floral elements.

The embossed square frame die which I have used in the first and second cards is from China and so is the little butterfly.

The die used for the third card is Spellbinders Victorian Medallion die set, which I have mounted the topper in the middle of, and on the last card the die used is also from Aliexpress (China).

Thank you for looking and please all stay safe.
Take care,

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have made some cards using Hunkydory's  Little Book, An Artist Garden.  The toppers are very pretty.  I have mounted the toppers which are 5x5 onto some silver mirri card and then put on some decorative papers from The Works, they have gone really well with these papers.  I have then added some pearls in each corner.  The overall size of the cards is 6x6.

The third picture is of some 5x5 cards using some vellum floral toppers which I have had for a very long time, I think I ordered them off Amazon at the time.  They are A4 sheets which I have cut out using a Nellie Snellen Square nesting die.   I have also used some very old papers from Papermania which was a colossal stack of bright colours.  The frame is a Creative Expressions New York Collection die called Herald Square, which I think works well with the toppers.

Thanks for looking and Happy Crafting,

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few of my new handmade cards for this month, which I took into the St. Oswald's Hospice shop on Tuesday afternoon here in Morpeth.

My first two cards are made using Papermania's Modern Deco paper pad, the papers of which are foiled, and the images came from a piece of wrapping paper where I die cut out the images and then mounted them onto a piece of white card.  The corners are die cut out from a piece of gold mirri card, the corner dies came from China.

My third card is made using Lucy Cromwell Designstax paper pad from Papermania, and the birdhouse, flowers, birds and sentiment are Craftwork Cards Boho collection die cut sheets.

Lastly one of my Easter cards which was made using Joanna Sheen Signature Daffodil die, which I cut out several times in different colours and then paper pieced it together.  The background papers are from a very old 12x12 Springtime paper pack which came from Lakeland when they had a small crafting section in their shop.  The sentiment I cut out from a recycled old Easter card.

Thanks for taking the time to look and happy crafting.

Hello Everyone,

A belated Happy New Year to you all.

I have had a walk down into Morpeth town centre this morning and dropped off a box of cards for the St. Oswald's Hospice shop, it was lovely to hear that all of my Christmas cards had sold.  For the past three weeks I have made some Spring cards and Valentine Day's cards for the shop, so here are a few of the makes that I took into the shop this morning.

The first set of cards are made using The Paper Boutique Country Stroll collection of papers, scene and sentiment pad which I have added on some lavender, snowdrop and hollyhocks, the lavender and hollyhock die came from Aliexpress, it was worth the long wait as they are lovely.  The little snowdrop die is from Craft Emotions, I love this die, these dies are going to be used a lot.  I have also used a honeycomb die from Aliexpress to give the first card an interesting corner.

The Valentine cards are made using some very old stash, which I have used for the past few years, there is plenty of paper left for next year!  The Forever Friends cards are papers from Papermania called 'All Loved up'  The three love heart cards, are papers from K&Co which I have had for many years now.  The hearts have been die cut with dies again from Aliexpress.  The sentiments used are from Papermania which are glittered.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look!
