Hello Everyone,

Here are just a few of my Christmas cards which I have recently been making, all of which are going to St. Oswald's Hospice shop here in Morpeth.

The first two cards were made using Lili of the Valley blue Christmas paper pack, where I decided to use the papers as backgrounds to make a scene card using Nellie Snellen reindeer die, Christmas tree die and Spellbinders square nesting dies, and lastly used a Spellbinders border die which I thought worked well for the reindeer and trees to stand on.

I decided to put the first card  in a white frame using Spellbinders square dies and then put the frame through a small dot embossing folder by Couture Creations.

The last set of cards were made using Docrafts Pocketful of Posies A4 decoupage collection which I mounted onto 5x5 card blanks, once assembled finished off with bows and gems.

Thanks for looking and hope that you all have a very Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have been using the new Gorjuss Girl Tweed collection from Do-crafts, this being the A4 decoupage pack.  On the cards I have added rhinestones and  floral die cuts, these went into my charity box for St. Oswald's Hospice shop here in Morpeth, Northumberland.

The last two cards are made with toppers which I bought from Ebay called 'Paws 4 a Moment', I thought that the images were rather cute.  I pyramaged them onto a Sue Wilson circle die cut which is from her Italian collection, and then finished off with rhinestones in each corner.  The background papers are from LOTV and Marianne designs.

Thanks for looking,
Jackie xx

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have been using a lot of the new Papermania Folk Floral A4 decoupage packs.

I love these toppers and pretty papers so much that I got carried away over the weekend, making numerous cards..

On the last card, I used a Floral Folk sticker with the Marianne Design Circlet die, which I thought went quite well together.  The background papers are from Dovecraft Leyton 6x6 paper stack, which I thought went well together also.

Hello Everyone,

For this month I have been using some Marianne Design dies, firstly the cupcake one.

For this one I have used a 5x5 scallop card and Wild Rose Studio gingham paper.  Then I cut out a smaller square which I then put through a Creative Expressions small dot embossing folder.  Lastly I then cut out the cup cake and cherry from glittered card.  The actual cupcake case is adhesive fabric, this being the first time that I have used fabric, I am quite pleased with it, makes a nice change to do something a little different.

My second card is using Marianne Design Scotty Dog die, which I have cut out in black card, and mounted into a die cut frame.  Inside the frame I have used red gingham fabric.  The patterned paper was from The Works. My third card is the same die, but using a different colour way.  For the doggies eyes I have used a small rhinestone.

My last card is from Craftwork Cards.  The toppers are in a block so it is nice and easy to use, and the Candi matches them so well, that it has made a nice quick card.  The pink gingham paper is from Wild Rose Studio again.  These toppers come in a smashing assortment and so does the Candi.

Hello everyone,

For July I have made some shaped cards using Lifestyle cutting dies, the inspiration came from a Docrafts gallery member.  The papers that I have used are from Lili of the Valley and their mini toppers, which I then finished off with a Cheery Lynn die cut bow.

The last two are made using my Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder  and dots folder, I then used with a square die to make the frame for another small mini Lili of the Valley topper and their pretty papers which I love using.

Hope you are all having a good summer,
Take care,

Hello Everyone,

Here are some of my new cards for this month,

The first two cards are made using 5x7 card blanks and the images are from LOTV floral art pads, which are very pretty.  I love these art pads because you can cut the image to what ever shape you like if you have the right die.  The dies which I used for these two cards are Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25, which is a 6 part die set.  The idea for this design came from a Docrafts gallery member, I thought how pretty they looked using this die set.

The last card was made using a 5x5 card blank, the little girl image is from a Marianne Design topper sheet, where you have to cut them out yourself, so I found that my circle nesting die set fitted well on this sheet, so I was able to cut out the image more easily.  The background paper was from an old Papermania Amethyst paper stack.  The dies used also to highlight the image are Spellbinders circle eyelet die set.

Many thanks for visiting my blogspot,
Take care,

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few of my new cards which I have  made using some of my new dies, which I  bought recently, and decided to have a go at experimenting with them.

The first card was made using the Xcut large Filigree Floral die, which is brilliant to use, it is so large that you can cut to size to fit your card blanks.  I cut this out in white linen card and then mounted it onto pink card using organza ribbon wrapped around the top of it and then added a sentiment die cut.  The butterfly is the Xcut dimensional punch, which I thought gave it a nice finish against the flowers.

This last card was made using the Tonic Studio Ivy Bridge die, the pack contains four dies.  This is the smaller die which I have joined together to make the shape, where I added dark pink card underneath the dies to bring out the paper and shape.  I then mounted this onto some pink floral paper and then added a Redhotbed die cut floral topper.

Good Afternoon everyone,

Here are some pictures of some of my latest cards that I have been working on for the past few weeks.

I love the Little Meow collection which was brought out at the beginning of January, so I decided to buy some of the A4 decoupage packs, and was surprised as to how many cards I actually got out of  just one of the sheets, with the use of some of my Spellbinders dies and papers that seemed to go well with them.  I worked out that I could possibly get 16 cards out of one pack altogether.

These cards I have made are from the Lili of the Valley range, using some of their cute little toppers and taster paper packs, which are new to their shop.

This floral card was made from one of the Lili of the Valley's floral art pads and paper packs.  I carefully lined up one of my Crea Nest-Lies dies (no. 13) XXL, over the image and ran it through my Cuttlebug.  Then with the next size die upwards, cut one out in some matching paper.  Once mounted I used a Cheery Lynn bow die and found some old K & Co papers that I had and thought the checked paper matched really well with the colour scheme that I had chosen.  Then I finished the card off with a small glittered Kanban sentiment.

This last card is was made using a 5x7 card blank, again with Lili of the Valley paper and art pad, this time using a Spellbinders Card Creator die Elegant Labels 4, which I lined up over the art pad.  The corner die is Cheery Lynn, and the bow die is also Cheery Lynn.

All of these cards are going to a St. Oswald's Hospice shop, where I take a bundle of handmade cards each month.  Thank you for taking the time to have a look at them. Jackie x

Hello Everyone,

January 2015 is here, and it has been rather cold, windy and snowy but the good thing is that the daffodils, tulips, snowdrops and bluebells have started to come up and it is also getting a little lighter in the mornings, which is always good to see.

For the start of this New Year I have bought the new Docrafts Simply Floral 6x6 paper stack which is bright, pretty and refreshing to see these colours.  I also bought the new XCUT filigree heart die which I thought would complement these new papers.  I have come up with a few designs, where I have added paper roses and Simply Floral sentiment diecuts and other dies and sentiments of my own.

The last card was made using a Tattered Lace Happy Birthday Tapestry diecut, which I mounted on a blue background and then put into a square frame and then added diamantes to finish it off and give a little sparkle.

Hope that you like these designs and thanks for looking, Jackie x
