Hello Everyone,

Merry Christmas to All.

This card was made using Marianne Design background paper and snowman topper.  The Merry Christmas die was from china and the frame, the fir tree dies are from Craft Emotions.

Thank you to all that have been following my Blog for this year, and lets hope that the New Year is a healthy and peaceful one for all.

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few of my new Christmas cards for 2018.

The first two cards  are made with My Favourite Things 'Love Deer Die'.  I bought this die late last year ready for this year's cards.  It is a smashing little die to use, and looks really good once assembled on a card.  These cards are 5x5 and the background paper came from Poundland  and Dovecraft's Krafty Christmas paper pack.  I used fabric and washi tape for the borders for the deer to stand on.  I finished them off with  little red self adhesive rhinestones for their noses.

The third card was made using a reindeer bauble die from Aliexpress.  I cut it out in gold mirri card and mounted onto Papermania's First Noel paper pad.  I finished off the card with a Hunkydory sentiment.

Many thanks for looking, Jackie x

Hello Everyone,

Here are just three of the cards that I have recently made.

The first one is using a floral die from Aliexpress, which when placed on the card only cuts out the floral shape.  I then mounted it onto a background of Papermania Capsule Collection paper pad, which is from one of their older collections.  I then finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment and lilac rhinestones to finish it.

The second card was also using a large rose die from Aliexpress, this being cut out in black card.  The back ground papers are from Trimcraft called Sweet Nothing, the sentiment again from Craftwork Cards.

Thirdly this card was made using Jeanine's Vintage flower hexagon die.  Background paper from Papermania Blue Capsule Collection and card.  The image is from a Lily of the Valley topper, with blue rhinestones to finish and sentiment.

Many thanks for looking, I hope to post some Christmas cards for 2018 next month.

Hello Everyone,

For a few weeks now I have been playing with my new wooden peg stamps.

These little stamps are very addictive and there are an endless amount of things that you can do with them.  Here are three examples at my first attempts at using them.

My first card I decided to make a circle out of card and then put a little piece of double sided tape on the back of it, and then mounted it onto a piece of white card which I had run through my die cutting machine with a Spellbinders square card creator die, to get the right size to this 5x5 card blank.

I also cut out another square in gold mirri card to mount this onto.  Then I found all of the different coloured inks that I wanted to use for the stamps.  I first of all stamped on the dark colour, and then went around with the greens, pinks etc to form the circle.  Once the circle looked complete, I carefully removed the circle mat from the middle and saw the circle revealed, which I was really pleased with.  I then mounted the square stamped image onto the gold mirri card and then mounted this onto the card, which I first of all covered in a pastel blue paper from a paper pad which came from The Works.  In the middle I then decided to add a Craftwork Cards sentiment, which seemed to finish off the card nicely.

My second attempt was to do a square frame doing the same technique, this time using different coloured inks and background paper, and then adding gemstones to finish the card.

My third attempt was using a completely different set of peg stamps and colours, this time using the same technique but mounting the image on silver mirri card, all sentiments are from Craftwork cards.

The little peg stamps that I have used are Heyda (Blossom and Leaves) and Rubber Stamp Tapestry (Spring blooms) and a selection of pigment ink pads.

Many thanks for looking and happy crafting,

Hello Everyone,

Here are three cards which I have made for this month.

The first card was made using a smashing die which I bought from Aliexpress.  The flower topper is printed onto vellum which I then backed onto white card.  I also used a square stitched square die to mount this onto with the same colour paper which I mounted the larger die onto.

The second and third card are from a paper pack which I bought from Aliexpress called Spring Time.  The images of the little girls are part of the paper pack which I cut out and mounted onto the pretty floral paper using stitched square dies.  The lacy square die also came from Aliexpress.  This website has become very popular with so many inexpensive cutting dies to choose from, the only thing is that you have a couple of weeks for them to arrive, but it is worth the wait.

Many thanks for looking, hope that you are enjoying the lovely warm weather.

Bye for now, Jackie x

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would share with you these pretty cards which I have made with the new Docrafts range called Freshly Cut flowers.  I treated myself to the 8x8 paper pad and the two A4 decoupage paper packs.  The first card is using some of the pretty paper and one of the decoupage toppers which are very pretty.  The second and third card were made using just the paper pad which I cut out the images using square cutting dies and just added some of the sentiments which match the papers.  This is a very pretty set and I have given them to St. Oswalds Hospice shop.

The last two cards were made using wreath dies, the first one being the new X-cut Floral and Bird Wreath die.  I cut this out and then snipped off the birds and found a floral topper from an old stash and thought that it would look nice in the middle.  The background papers are from a paper pad which I bought a long time ago from The Works.  I then finished off the card with rhinestones and a 'thanks' sentiment from Papermania.

The second wreath die came from Aliexpress (China), which I mounted on a Sarah Davies Floral Delight 6x6 paper.  I then found a sentiment topper to go in the middle of it, and finished off the card with fucshia pink pearls.

Many thanks for looking, Jackie x

Hello Everyone,

Sorry that I am a little late at updating my Blog, here are some cards that I have made during January and February.

This first little card was made using a lovely cat die from Aliexpress (China), I thought that it was  unusual and cute so decided to order one and have a play with it.  The background papers are from a Watercolour pad from The Works, which I thought went really well with the diecuts.

This second card was made using another little die from Aliexpress with two little birds on a branch, you also get another die of just foliage which I have placed behind the first diecut, and then decided it would look good as a framed image.  The background card is from Papermania Fleur de Lis, and so is the background paper it is mounted on.

This third card is also using another die from Aliexpress, could not resist the little filigree tree die, I love the way the two little birds and bird house have been incorporated into the tree.  The background papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics blue pad, and the sentiment came from Poundland which finishes it off nicely.

Here are my Valentine cards ready for the 14th February.  I have made all of these cards and the above ones for our local St. Oswalds Hospice shop.  I have been supporting this Charity for a few years now with my handmade cards.

The first Valentine card was made using an old kit from Papermania called Love Collection, which I have had for quite some time, so thought it would be a good idea to start using it.  The second tatty Teddy card was made using some pretty glittered toppers and papers from a collection which came out a few years ago by Docrafts, again I decided to use some of it up.  Thirdly my last heart card was made using K&Company papers and a glittered chipboard heart, I made some similar last year, so had two hearts left and some pieces of paper and decided to make a couple more.
